Group Of ISRO Scientists Comes Out Against 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'

With 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect,' Madhavan made his directorial debut. The film was a huge success, and it remained in theatres even after its digital premiere. Though the film did not gross a lot of money at the box office, it became a blockbuster as more people saw it.

The film is a biopic based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer who was falsely accused of espionage. The film was critically acclaimed when it was released on July 1. There is a new accusation that the film is fake and not entirely true.

According to media reports, a group of former ISRO scientists held a press conference on August 24 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. During the press conference, the former scientist claimed that the country faced significant delays in the development of cryogenic engines as a result of Nambi Narayan's arrest, as well as a significant financial loss. They allegedly revealed that scientist Nambi Narayanan is spreading false information.

According to the scientists who spoke to the media, everything depicted in the film is false. They claimed that the former scientist was not awarded the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to the ISRO. According to reports, Nambi Narayanan was not even a member of the group that worked on cryogenic engines.

According to the reports, Nambi Narayana only worked with APJ Abdul Kalam for a short period of time, and it is not as portrayed in the film that Nambi Narayanan assisted and corrected Abdul Kalam when he made a mistake.
