Gulshan Grover is over the moon after the humongous response to the performance in Sooryavanshi. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn playing cameos. 66-year-old Gulshan Grover played an important role in Sooryavanshi, which was released in theatres on November 5. The film opened to positive responses and has crossed Rs 250 crore at the box office worldwide.
In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Gulshan Grover said, "I am loving it that I am a part of India's biggest film called Sooryavanshi which is creating havoc in cinemas. My character is being liked and appreciated. I went to the cinemas to watch the film and I could not even enter. My fans gathered there and surrounded my car, hundreds of them. It was so heartwarming to see that the audience is back to the theatre. This was Friday afternoon, the second show. They were saying, 'Usmani Bhai aa gaye'.." He took to social media to share a video of his car being thronged by his fans. He wrote, "Audiences are back to theatres! See this video of #GaietyGalaxy cinema. Thank you #Sooryavanshi (sic)."
