GV Prakash is the composer for Suriya and Vetrimaaran's film

Music director GV Prakash is one of the promising talents from the AR Rahman family. Of late, GV has been concentrating much on his acting projects. He also composed songs for his acting venture, but none of them gave him the recognition he once received when he was concentrating only on music.

Recently, GV Prakash composed the songs and background music for Dhanush's Asuran which turned out to one of the biggest hits of 2019. Asuran, directed by Vetri Maaran is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his home banner V Creations. Impressed with his work, Thanu has once again roped in GV Prakash. In a surprise announcement, GV Prakash announced that his upcoming film with director Vetri Maaran and actor Suriya is his 75th flick as a music director. Sharing the announcement, GV wrote, "#GV75 Yes my 75th film as a composer is with my most successful director combination @Vetrimaaran ... with @Suriya_offl sir as lead ... produced by Thanu sir @theVcreations #GV75withSuriyaVetriVcreations (sic)" Director Vetrimaaran will helm Suriya's 40th film. If the rumors are right, then this untitled film will go on floors in mid-2020. The makers are now busy finalizing the rest of the cast and crew for their untitled film.
