Manjima is the daughter of popular cinematographer Vipin Mohan and dancer Kalamandalam Girija. She entered the film industry as a child artist and acted in various Malayalam films like Kaliyoonjal, Saaphalyam, Priyam and Sundara Purushan. She made her debut as the lead heroine with the 2015 Malayalam comedy-drama Oru Vadakkan Selfie. But it was her second film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada which brought her wide fame. Directed by Gautham Menon, this film got simultaneously made in Telugu as Saasaham Swasaga Saagipo. Both these films brought Manjima the popularity in Telugu and Tamil industries.
