Ramana Gogula shot to fame with the 1996 music album Aye Laila. He composed it along with his band Misty Rhythms. Eventually, he ventured into Telugu cinema and composed for more than 25 films in the major South Indian languages. Ramana Gogula made his debut with the 1998 film Premante Idera. This film was a super hit and so was its music album. This success gave Ramana instant fame in the industry. His next film was Thammudu. All the songs of this movie remained chartbusters and people still have them on their playlists. This movie also marked the first time collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Ramana Gogula. Later, they went on to work together for movies like Badri, Johnny and Annavaram. In his career, Ramana Gogula composed music for other films like Yuvaraju, Chinnodu, Lakshmi, Viyyala Vari Kayyalu, Yogi, Boni and Venkatadri Express.
Apart from being a musician, Ramana is also an entrepreneur. He worked as a venture capitalist in the VC Firms. He is now the Vice President of Clean Technology Innovation. His team is building a solar agricultural platform to support more than 300 million farmers in India.
