Harish Shankar and Krish Jagarlamudi are two of the finest filmmakers in the Telugu cinema. While Krish is popular for his heartwarming dramas, Harish is best known for his commercial potboilers. We now hear that this duo is all set to team up for a series of web shows.
According to the sources, Krish and Harish Shankar are planning to bankroll a few web series jointly. They may also direct some of them but it again depends on their schedules. As of now, they are planning to encourage new talents by supervising a few out of the box concepts. It is being heard that they have tied up with an OTT platform to make these web series.
Krish already entered into the web arena earlier this year. He penned the story of the recent web series Mastis. He is also the creative producer of it. This coming of age series is currently streaming on Aha. On the feature film front, the director is currently helming a movie with Pawan Kalyan as the lead. This film is set in the Mughal era. It is being produced by AM Ratnam. The makers are planning to sign Bollywood actors Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez to play the other lead roles in this film.
On the flip side, Harish Shankar scored a hit with his last film Gaddalakonda Ganesh. His next film will feature Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. This project may go on floors in early 2021. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for it.
