A new video for Harry Styles's song 'Falling' dropped on Friday.
Falling is an emotional song talking about a breakup and what the person feels soon after that. Harry has been raw, expressive, and honest in this new song.
In the new music video, Harry is in a beautiful apartment. He plays the piano with a drink placed on it. There is water overflowing from the piano as Harry sings and expresses his pain. Harry is wearing a purple dress with pants as he plays the piano.
As he continues to sing and his emotions become intense, the song reaches its peak. The water flowing from the piano floods the entire room and consumes Harry in it. Dave Meyers directed this video. Meyers also directed Harry's previous video Adore You from the same album. Meyers has worked with other artists such as Missy Elliot, Janet Jackson, and Katy Perry to name a few.
When asked about the song, Harry said in an interview with Zane Lowe in November that he wrote the song at a moment he felt the lowest he has ever felt in his life.
Styles, however, considered the experience therapeutic. He told Lowe that the chorus goes like this, "What am I now? Am I someone I don't want around?' I had started to feel myself becoming someone I didn't want to be and that was really hard".
His album Fine Line which released a few months ago received immense appreciation. The audience calls it one of the best works ever done by Harry. And Falling is one such favourite of the audience.
