Harry Styles is in Los Angeles amid the pandemic lockdown. The singer-songwriter wishes he was back home instead. In a recent interview on Tuesday with Capital FM, the singer revealed that when the United States began it's shut down in an attempt to stop the pandemic, the singer had to make a difficult decision as to where he'd be spending his days during the lockdown.
"I'm actually in California, I got stuck. I was supposed to be coming home then it got all a little sketchy with the flights," he said. "I'm really sad that I have to cancel it. I was really looking forward to coming home and spending some time with my mum and sister, and my family, but it's for the best." The singer also feels sad about postponing his Love on Tour tour, which was initially scheduled to begin in Birmingham, England, in April and now it is officially scheduled for 2021.
"I think, honestly, it's obviously disappointing but it's not even close to being the most important thing at all right now... I think the most important thing right now is to keep everyone safe. I have to do that from, like, all of our crew point of view, as well as the fans coming to the shows. I don't want to go to a show right now if this is the thing. It's just about keeping everyone healthy and being safe and touring doesn't sound super fun right now... But I'm really looking forward to it when it comes around. It's next year now. It's gonna be fun. We'll be very ready by then." he added. The singer mentioned about writing new music, walking, reading and playing more instruments.
He also joked that he's trying to not eat everything in the house when asked about how he's spending his time during the lockdown.
