Director Vasudev Sanal says that "Haya" is a film that takes a creative approach against the backdrop of recurring love affairs and subsequent murders. The director says that this is not only a film of the campus but also of the era. He was talking to journalists at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.
Haya, directed by Vasudev Sanal hit theatres on November 25. The story, screenplay, and dialogue of this campus thriller is written by journalist Manoj Bharti.
The film stars Guru Somasundaram in the lead role along with Shambhu Menon, social media celebrities Chaitanya Prakash, Bharat, and Akshaya Udayakumar. Indrans, Johnny Antony, Lal Jose, Sreedhanya, Srikanth Murali, Laya Simpson, Kottayam Ramesh, Biju Pappan, Sreeraj, Sunny Sariga, Vijayan Karanthur, and others also play other roles.
Music by Varun Sun of Masala Coffee Band Santosh Verma, Manu Manjit. The songs are written by Unnikrishnan Potti, Lakshmi Menon, and Satish Idamannel. The singers are KS Chitra, Juan Fernandez, Rashmi Satish, Aslam Abdul Majeed, Varun Sunil, Binu Sariga, and Vishnu Sunil.
