The film industry is a world where we really are not sure who can make it big and who cannot. Some of them fight until they get fame while some of them give up in the midway itself. Actress Nikeesha Patel falls in the second category. The Komarum Puli actress bid adieu to the film industry recently and is currently pursuing higher studies in London. Meanwhile, Nikeesha is not the first one to follow this route. Earlier, there were many heroines like Richa Gangopadhyay, Manali Rathod, Sakshi Chaudhary and Mishti Chakraborty who did the same.
Richa Gangopadhyay made a promising debut into the film industry with the 2010 film Leader. After that, she got a chance to act alongside star heroes like Ravi Teja, Dhanush, Simbu, Nagarjuna and Prabhas in films like Mirapakaay, Saarocharu, Mayakkam Enna, Other, Bhai, and Mirchi. Despite acting in all big films, Richa didn't feel films as the right place and had quit the industry. She then moved to the US and got settled there. She also got married recently.
Nikesha Patel also had a big launch by acting alongside Pawan Kalyan in Komarum Puli. But she couldn't bag any big films after that. After struggling for almost a decade, Nikeesha now moved to London. She is now getting trained in film studies over there. The actress confirmed that South Indian films have bored her and she doesn't want to work here anymore. However, she added that she would like to test her luck in British and Hollywood films and television shows.
