Slowly, Rana Daggubati has become the care-of address for mythological and historical period films. After acting in Baahubali and Rudhramadevi, this hunk actor has announced another magnum opus called Hiranyakasipa. Rana announced this project two years back with Gunashekhar as the director but it didn't go on the floors yet.

This has built the speculations that the project got shelved. But Rana says that the project is very much on track and is taking time in the pre-production works. Speaking in a recent interview, the Leader actor said that they are planning to make Hiranyakasipa bigger than Baahubali. Rana is trying to use the latest visual technology to give an immersive experience to the audience.
The actor said that he was in the US researching various latest technologies in the arena. Since he is also the producerof the film, he is collaborating with a 3D scanning company that specializes in medical technology. But the movie's team felt that their scans are better than most of the world-famous studio works. Rana is also planning to build virtual reality sets for the film. All these works will take time and Rana said that they will start shooting for the film in about eight months.
