Hollywood Insiders And Brad Pitt’s Close Friends Share Details Of His Life After Divorce

Commenting on Pitt and Jolie’s marriage, an insider said. “I felt — and so did lots of us — that Brad was muted during his relationship with Angelina. He was distant. And now we have him back.” Another colleague close to Pitt said. “I wouldn’t say muted, because they did a lot of really good work together internationally. But Angelina did more of the talking and was more aggressive in setting agendas and priorities.”

An insider told The Post about Brad’s journey filming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. “It was a tough shoot. Brad was in the middle of his divorce from Angelina and he wasn’t getting to see his kids as much as he wanted to. Part of the reason Brad took the part was so he could stay in LA and see the kids.” Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. Tarantino started filming in 2018. By this time, Jolie filed a court claim stating that Pitt had failed to pay any “significant” child support even as his camp revealed he had paid more than $9 million since the 2016 split. “He was filming with all the legal stuff going on in the background,”

the colleague said. “It was a really difficult time in his life and he had great support from everyone on set.”nHe formed a strong bond with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. Pitt’s friend said Pitt calls DiCaprio “Lover” and that “They have a good bond.” The shoot, although difficult, was something Brad needed,” the insider added. Pitt will next produce a documentary about the late singer Chris Cornell. He will also produce a movie adaptation of the play “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” and an HBO adaptation of the novel “Americanah.” Pitt’s friend concluded saying, “He’s really enjoyed the focus on his acting.”
