Hrithik Roshan opens up about the advice he took from his dad Rakesh Roshan

Actor Hrithik Roshan opened up about his father, director Rakesh Roshan’s, advice to him. Rakesh Roshan’s advice centered around what Hrithik should keep in mind while working with different directors. The father-son duo has worked together in films like Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3. Rakesh as the director and Hrithik as the actor in the lead role.
"People often ask, 'you work with different directors'. My father said that 'you must have four things -- mutual respect, a strong head, courage, and tolerance'. My responsibility lies in choosing the director. After that, I have to only listen (to the director)," Hrithik said. The actor has worked with directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Karan Johar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and Siddharth Anand among others. When asked whether Hrithik has a dream role in mind, he replied, "There is no favorite dream role in my life. My favorite is what I do."
But, the actor did express his desire to play the role of a police officer in an upcoming film. About his "closest character", he said. "My life has two characters, each on two ends that are closest -- Super 30 and Koi Mil Gaya on one end, and War and Dhoom 2 at the other end."
On September 5, 2019, Teacher’s day, Hrithik had also posted a write-up for his father, expressing gratitude. It read. “I have always been a student of Life. The burning desire in me to learn is as blazing as a toddler. But before I could understand and interpret my many life lessons, it was my Father who taught me. Thank you, Papa, for teaching me things that no educational institution, no acting classes, no book could. for making me understand and not only see, for pushing me to think before I act. You make me be a better human, father, son, actor, and friend. Thank you for being an example, it is up to you I look when my children look for their dad. Happy Teacher's day.”
The post warmed the hearts of his fans and depicted the close bond the father-son duo share.
