Hrithik Roshan To Reprise His Role As The Lead In War 2; Ayan Mukerji To Helm The Film

Actor Hrithik Roshan will reportedly play the lead role in the next movie War 2, which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. Ayan wrote a lengthy Instagram post earlier on Tuesday in which he mentioned receiving a "really amazing opportunity." He disclosed that he had been invited to helm "a very special movie."

Ayan wrote in part of the post, “I also have another piece of news to share...The Universe has presented me with a very special opportunity recently - a very special movie - to step into and direct! What the movie is... More on that when the time is right.” He further remarked, "An opportunity that challenges me and terribly excites me... one where I will learn, be inspired and where I will grow! Siddharth Anand directed the action-thriller movie War, which came out in 2019. Siddharth, Aditya Chopra, Shridhar Raghavan, and Abbas Tyrewala all contributed to the writing. The movie, which was produced by Yash Raj Films, is the third entry in the YRF Spy Universe. Tiger Shroff, Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and Anupriya Goenka are among the actors who appear in it.
