I have had Women, I never met before, walk up to me to just give me a hug. I know you cried through the film. You should know I cried for all the love. Thank You. #THAPPAD." Thappad tells the story of a housewife Amrutha who reevaluates her marriage after her husband slaps her in the face in front of a group of people at a party but fails to apologize. Taapsee received a lot of positive feedback for her performance.
