John Abraham is an actor who stole the hearts of Indian audience through his macho roles. John recently stepped in to film production as well. He has received a National Film Award and five Filmfare nominations in his career. Abraham produced his first film Vicky Donor in 2012. Since then, John has been busy leading in his action films along with producing a few.
Now John Abraham says that he prefers theatre release over OTT release for his films. Though he would like to try OTT for films produced by him, he wants to see himself on the big screen. John Abraham was speaking to ETimes.
“As a producer, I love the OTT space. I would love to make films for the medium and cater to that audience. But as an actor, I am very clear that I want to be on the big screen. I am a big-screen hero and that is where I want to be seen. At this point, I will do films that cater to the big screen. I would find it offensive if someone shut off my film midway on a tablet because they needed to rush to the washroom. Also, I would not like to be available for Rs 299 or 499. I have a problem with it;” said John Abraham.
John added that he has a special love for Force film franchise. He also said that he want to do Force 3. “I am eager to do Force 3, which I feel should be more powerful than the previous installments. The film is close to my heart and I’d like to take the franchise ahead;” John Abraham added.
