Salman's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif also acted in the film. In 2002, in an interview with a leading daily, Salman responded to allegations of beating ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In reply, he said: 'No... I never hit her. Anyone can beat me.'
Any fighter on set here can beat me. That's why people are not afraid of me. I will be emotional. Then I would hurt myself. I've hit my head against the wall. I hurt myself all over. I can't hurt anyone else. I only beat Subhash Ghai.'
However, I apologized to him the next day. "Sometimes I couldn't control myself," said Salman Khan.
