Lukman is not just one actor who weaves all the excitement through Unda, Java, and Thallumaala. The joy and excitement of becoming an actor is also the dream of a group of aspiring actors. Lukman and I only had the experience of attending auditions together in the past. But when I decided to do the first film, I don't know what made me think of making him one of the heroes. I don't know why. Little did we both know that this was the beginning of a great journey when we joined Vinaya Dasan in Operation Java.
Although Java was a success, there were people who complained when they came to know that Lukman was the hero in the second film, Saudi Vellakka, and there were people who said that it was my arrogance. This is what I have to say to them. Not arrogance, but pride. Faces matching the character can be found. Being able to do a movie with them every progress can be seen. Because, for us, cinema is not just a business but also an art.
