Nazriya Nazim is one of the young actresses in Malayalam who has made a place in the minds of the audience. Although she has acted in a handful of films, Nazriya is an actress who is loved by the audience. Although she acted in two films in between, she has not been very active in Malayalam films recently. The actress is now opening up about the reason for taking a break from Malayalam cinema after marriage.
Nazriya said that the hiatus in Malayalam was not decided. In an interview with Star and Style, Nazriya said that she often hears stories and says okay to what she likes, but she has not received any stories that she likes.
She doesn't say okay to anything that doesn't excite her or make her feel different. Nazriya said that this is how breaks happen. To the host's question whether there will be a big break for the next film, Nazriya replied that "many people ask why it takes so long to decide on a film, but even if it is a film that is not a success, I have acted only in those I believe in and that will continue to be the case."
Her favourite role was the role in Om Shanti Oashana. Nazriya said that she will act if such films come. Nazria added that although the actress has already reached the positions of producer and production controller, she still wants to enter the field of directing, but it will not happen soon.
Meanwhile, Nazriya’s Telugu debut Ante Sundaraniki gained positive reviews from the audience. The film which released on June 10th was a box office success as well.
