Actress Aishwarya Bhaskaran has said that the children of the stars have never had to go through a casting couch. In an interview, Aishwarya said that while acting in films in the 90s, she had to listen to obscene comments from the crowd.
Aishwarya says she now sells soap and lives happily. “I have no job. Nothing financially. I live by selling soap on the streets. No debts. I'm the only one in my family. The daughter got married and left. I do not hesitate to do any work. If you give me a job in your office tomorrow, I will accept that too. I will happily go back and wash the toilet. Interested in doing movies. I hope someone calls;” Aishwarya said.
Aishwarya said she had to listen to obscene comments from the crowd in the 90s.
“it was a film by Ramarajan Sir. Putting on my skirt and blouse, I followed Sir. When Ramarajan left, all the people applauded. When he was gone I bowed my head and walked through it in silence. Then there were mean comments from the crowd. I heard this in the 90s. Even if an ordinary housewife wears a nice sari, people will comment on who bought it.
Star Kids never goes through the casting couch. I never grew up on a big level. I have not compromised on any of my principles. Those who compromised did not seem to be sleeping peacefully;” said Aishwarya Bhaskaran.
