Prabhas' uncle Krishnam Raju has always been a father figure to him, especially since the death of his father, producer Surya Narayana Raju, in 2010. The Baahubali star has frequently acknowledged the OG Rebel Star for his success, once saying, "Peddananna garu is the reason I am where I am today." He deserves credit for every correct step I've taken; I will only accept credit for my mistakes. When I first started acting, he informed me that every shot I take will go down in history, and I still live by that. He always said that hard work is vital, but so is how I behave myself. He means the world to me and my family."

Krishnam Raju and Prabhas have worked together three times: in Billa, Rebel, and, most recently, Radhe Shyam. Prabhas has accomplished his uncle's ambition of pushing boundaries in film and creating a lasting impression at the box office during the course of his two-decade career. However, Krishnam Raju's desire to see him wedded remains unmet. "I hope he gets married soon and has babies so I can play with them," he remarked earlier this year in an interview.
