The trailer of Prithviraj's new movie Kuruthi was released last day. Discussions have begun about the film since the release of the trailer with intense scenes.
Prithviraj is sharing more about Kuruthi. Prithviraj told how Kuruthi changed from the first form, from the story to the trailer we see now. Prithviraj was speaking in an interview with the Entertainment Times as part of Kuruthi's promotion.
“Manu Warrier and Anish Pillai are very honest filmmakers. I was the one who was a little more mainstream. I told them, ‘Look, I don’t want this movie to win a lot of awards. I’m thinking about the millions of people who watch this movie and how they enjoy it.
I do not know how much Kuruthi has changed from the original version of the movie. But I know they are happy with that movie today. I am much happier with the current form of the film. Kuruthi is a mainstream film. It is a film that tells a very fast story and talks about topics that we definitely need to discuss today;” said Prithviraj.
Kuruthi is a film written by Anish Pillai and directed by Manu Warrier. The film stars Prithviraj, Murali Gopi, Roshan Mathew, Shrinda, Shine Tom Chacko, Mamukoya and Manikandan Acharya in the lead roles.
Kuruthi is produced by Supriya Menon under the banner of Prithviraj Productions. The film will be released on Amazon Prime on August 11.
