Actor Siju Wilson publicly apologised to director Vinayan. Siju Wilson became emotional when he recalled the incident when Vinayan called him to play the lead role in the film Pathonpatham Noottandu.
"Vinayan Sir called me right when I was thinking of doing such a film. That's why I came back saying that I was ready to do it. I want apologise to him publicly. At the time of calling me, I thought about the last films of Sir. Why s he calling me? It is something that comes to the mind of every human being,”
But Vinayaan replied that Siju felt that way because he did not think about the Albhutha Dveepu and the Rakshasa Rajaavu.
"No matter, he is emotional. It is the inner fire of a new young man. Siju did not think about Albhutha Dveepu, Dada Sahib, or Rakshasa Rajavu. He was tense. I said if you can make a good film, it will change you into a different person. I left with that charge in my mind that day," Vinayan said.
Meanwhile, Pathonpatham Noottandu is all set to release in theatres. The film, directed by Vinayan stars Siju Wilson in the lead role. The trailer of the film received a great response from audience. The film Pathonpatham Noottandu is set in 90’s and tells the story of the time where casteism was prominent.
