The sofa brought together two celebrities who both made their television debuts together in the ninth episode of Koffee With Karan 7. This week, Ganapath and Heropanti debutants Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon graced the couch. The actor talked about his most tragic loss with Heropanti 2 and how devastated he was by the film's box office failure throughout the chat.
Karan Johar questioned Tiger Shroff about his approach to dealing with a major failure like this by using the title of the movie. “I was heartbroken. I was depressed. I’m just a very extreme person, I wouldn’t say I sacrificed a lot because I like what I do, and I don’t have a social life and too many friends…” Karan added, “You did a lot of failure eating.” Tiger further said, “I’m an emotional eater.”
Given that they were filming for Ganapath and how successfully Tiger Shroff "masks" it, Kriti Sanon was quite taken aback. He responded, "I'm even hungry right now," when Karan questioned whether this failure had motivated him to prove himself at the box office once more. " I'm not the kind of person to receive praise for excellent work—look how well he did. The box office serves as my measure of success. I look forward to hearing all the whistles when I land, and I am going to intervene".
Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Tara Sutaria appeared in the Ahmed Khan-directed Heropanti 2. The movie came out in May 2022.
