Iconic Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan
is no more. The legendary actor who is popular for his roles in films like Maqbool, New York, Haider, Talvar and Hindi Medium, has breathed his last earlier today in Mumbai. Irrfan got admitted to Kokilaben Hospital the other day due to serious illness. It is sad to hear the news in less than 24 hours. Irrfan was suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumor from the last two years. He was 54.
The whole Indian film industry and the lovers of cinema were quite shocked by his demise. Irrfan was last seen in the film Angrezi Medium which had hit the screens last month. He didn't even attend the promotional activities of the movie due to his serious health issues.
Irrfan made his debut with the 1988 film Salaam Bombay. After that, he acted in uncredited and supporting roles in many films. He received wide acclaim for his roles in films like Haasil and Maqbool. The 2007 drama Life in a Metro made Irrfan a star in the industry. After that, he became a care-of address to many content-oriented roles. His roles in films like Haider, Talvar, Piku, and Hindi Medium will be never forgotten by the audiences. Irrfan also appeared in International films like Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi, Jurrasic World, and Inferno. He is one of the Indian actors who have worldwide popularity.
