If Karan Johar's SOTY Wasn't Given To Her, Soni Razdan Intended To Send Alia Bhatt To A Drama School

The Indian film industry has been around for ten years with Alia Bhatt. Along with two other "students," Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, she made her acting debut in the Student Of The Year film directed by Karan Johar. The actress has often demonstrated her acting ability and is currently one of the most bankable actresses in the entertainment industry. When Alia Bhatt was in her late teens, she earned a role in Karan Johar's college play. In a recent post honouring her daughter's ten years in the acting career, her mother Soni Razdan discussed her daughter's future plans if she wasn't chosen to play Shanaya in Student Of The Year.

When Alia Bhatt reached the milestone of ten years in the film industry on October 19, her mother Soni Razdan shared on Instagram how her daughter broke into the industry when they least expected it and what their original plan for Alia Bhatt had been she had not landed a role in Student Of The Year.
