Indian Panorama is one of the major categories of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which happens in Goa every year. This year marks the golden jubilee anniversary of the festival and thus, the organizers are making it a bigger event.
26 feature films and 15 non-feature films are gearing up for the screenings under this section. Acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan will head the Indian Panorama jury this year for feature films. Rajendra Jangley will head the jury of the non-feature film section. Gujarathi film Hellaro got selected as the opening film of the Indian Panorama section. Kashmiri film Nooreh will be the opening film in the non-feature section.
Various films made across different languages like Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarathi, Telugu and Kannada will compete in this section. There are some major mainstream films like Uyare, Jallikattu, URI, Gully Boy, Badhaai Ho and Super 30, which will get screened as a part of this section.
Mamatva, Letters, A Thankless Job, Elephants Do Remember, Bridge, Maya, Satyarthi, Gadhul, Sunrise and The Secret Life of Frogs are some movies under the non-feature category. IFFI 2019 will kickstart on the 20th of November and concludes on the 28th of November.
