Along with her friend and fellow filmmaker Karan Johar, Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan will headline IIFA Rocks, the musical and fashion event. Abu Dhabi will present the International Indian Film Academy Awards. Before the event, Farah Khan talked about the comparison between her and Karan Johar as hosts and offered her opinions on the subject.
Farah Khan Kunder was asked who, in her opinion, makes a better host during her interview with the Free Press Journal. She responded, “I don't think a comparison is necessary here. Karan is a dear friend and a fantastic host. He lights up the stage every time he steps on it. We're both good at what we do, and doing it together makes it even better.”
The Happy New Year director was also asked about how thrilled she is to be hosting the event on Yas Island. Farah said, “I'm overjoyed! Yas Island is one of my favourite places to visit in Abu Dhabi. IIFA 2022 was a huge success. The audience is incredible over there, and I am personally very excited to host the 23rd edition of IIFA Rocks at Yas Island. It provides you with the largest audience, and I am excited to engage and entertain them in a new role.”
The portal also inquired about her enjoyment of hosting during the conversation. She continued, “I like entertaining just as much as I like doing other things. It's fun to interact with the audience and everyone nearby with such positive vibes, and I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable with an amazing co-host like Karan Johar beside me.”
About the event, it will take place on February 10 at the Etihad Arena. Along with Johar and Khan, performers at the event include rapper Badshah, singer and music director Amit Trivedi, vocalist Sunidhi Chauhan, and EDM producer Nucleya.
