Ilaiyaraaja quits Manikandan's Kadaisi Vivasayi and Santhosh Narayanan joins the film as music composer

Kadaisi Vivasayi is one of the upcoming films from the Kollywood film industry. There are a lot of movies coming up on farming background and this is one among them. Touted to be a comedy-drama, the film's director is M Manikandan. Manikandan earlier directed Kaaka Muttai, the National award-winning film. There is a positive buzz around the film since it is coming from a critically acclaimed filmmaker Manikandan. The latest buzz around the film is that Santhosh Narayanan is on board to score the music.

The film Kadaisi Vivasayi's trailer is already out on social media. 85-year-old Nallandi, Vijay Setupathi, Yogi Babu and a few others play the lead roles in the film. The film unit started the shoot in 2018 and finished it then. The release got delayed and the latest buzz is that Ilaiyaraaja was the composer for the movie initially and he is not working on the project now. Instead of maestro Ilaiyaraaja, the film will have Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music. This is a surprising move as no one expected that Ilaiayaraaja would not work on the film.

The reason for the change of the music composer is currently not available to the media. The film unit is also unavailable to comment on the same. The sources say that the director and legendary music composer disagreed on certain aspects and it pushed them to part ways. Manikandan then approached Santhosh Narayanan who readily came on board to finish the scoring of the film.
