In Master, Thalapathy Vijay plays the role of a college Dean; buzz on social media

After the super success of Bigil, Thalapathy Vijay is coming up with his new film Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film has completed its shoot within four months. The makers are planning to release it on the 9th of April. But, it might get postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, we got an interesting update about the film. It looks like Vijay played the role of a college dean in this movie.

If we zoom into one of the film's posters, we can see Vijay wearing an identity card. The card features Vijay's photo and under that, we can see the term 'Dean.' Thus, the sources have confirmed that he is playing the role of an Arts College Dean in the movie. Apparently, Vijay will also be an alcoholic in the movie. The lyrics and a couple of posters also hint the same. We hear that Master will be a clash between Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, who on the other hand, is playing the role of a politician.

The audio launch of Master happened recently in Chennai. The theatrical trailer of the film will out on the 22nd of this month. This is Lokesh Kanagaraj's immediate film after the last year's super hit film Kaithi. Malavika Mohanan is playing the female lead in Master.
