The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has recently crossed the 1000-mark with over 25 deaths. A lot of celebrities are coming forward with their donations to fight the global health crisis now. Interestingly, there are a lot of people who need help and prime minister Narendra Modi too launched a campaign called PM CARES. Among many celebrity couples who donated money, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma couple too announced a donation.
Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma announced their support to the PM-CARES Fund. At the same time, they also extended support to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Maharashtra. In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, they are doing this charity.
Virat Kohli took to Twitter to reveal the same. "Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps to ease the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona" tweeted Virat Kohli. Anushka Sharma too posted something similar on her social media profile.
Anushka also posted the same by changing their names. The power couple is currently in self-isolation. Recently, Anushka posted a video of herself giving a haircut to Viral Kohli and the video went viral on the internet. Let us hope that the fans of the actress and cricketer to donate money.
