India’s Official Oscar Entry Film Chhello Show Child Actor Rahul Kohli Passes Away

Chhello Show has been selected as India's official Oscar entry this year. This Gujarati film, which belongs to the coming-of-age drama category, achieved this feat behind many big films. Now a report is coming out that Rahul Kohli, the child actor who played one of these main characters, has passed away. The name Chhello Show means "the last show. The audience is now raising doubts on social media whether the name of the movie came true.

Cancer survivor Rahul was one of the six main child actors in the show. On Sunday, Rahul's father told the media that he had a continuous fever and vomited blood three times. Rahul's father's name is Ramu Koli. The Chhello Show, written and directed by Pan Nalin, brings to the audience a nine-year-old boy named Samay's relationship with cinema. Bhavesh Srimali, Richa Meena, Deepan Rawal, and Paresh Mehta have also played other crucial roles in the film. Bhavin Rabari Samay has given life to the central character. The film won the Golden Spike Award at the Valladolid International Film Festival in Spain and premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
