Indonesian & Australian dramas impresses at IFFI 2019

On the fourth day of the International Film Festival of India, a few movies have come up for the screening among which the following two impressed the movie lovers.

In The science of Fictions movie, Indonesian traditional dance and Music is well portrayed. Cinematography is good. Most of the frames are either dark (night shots) or steady. The first half-an-hour tests the patience of the Audience as they have no clue what's happening! The protagonist has done a decent job; the slow-motion act done by him is good. The screenplay is boring and the direction is okay. The slow-motion scenes initially looked peculiar with slapstick comedy but later it was no more.

Hearts and Bones is an Australian drama that deals with emotions. How the past of the men leads to a changed life is well written. Andrew Luri as a truck driver is a perfect fit. Hugo Weaving as War photographer is very good. The way screenplay is woven tightly around a photograph that threatens both their lives is exceptional. The Cinematography is good. Music breathes life into it. The direction is sensible. A Good emotional human drama to watch for.

So far, the two movies tried to grab attention at the film festival.
