Inshallah: Theatrical rights of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer sold for Rs 190 crore
In 2020, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah may be one of the largest and most expected movies to hit screens. The movie has gone onto floors, with a song shoot in one of the Mumbai studios at the moment.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is directing the movie and it will be shot in Mumbai, Varanasi, Haridwar and sections of Orlando and Florida in the United States. There have been rumours SLB is finding it hard to sell his movie because he was looking for a specific quantity for the movie. But everything seems to be wrong. We could now inform you that the cinematic rights of Inshallah have been sold at a whopping cost. A near-development source informs us, "There is someone attempting to play foul and destroy Salman's film. But now SLB has sold the company to Pen Cinemas ' Jayantilal Gada at an enormous cost."
A trading source shows, "Bhansali is also developing the movie along with Salman Khan Films. He's sold the film for Rs 165 crore plus additional Rs 25 crore for P&A, making it at Rs 190 crore and that's enormous." This is also reported to be one of the highest that a film has ever got.
