Isn’t ‘Maharshi’ receiving the necessary hype?
Looks like the Super Star’s stardom is the only bait that can pull the audience to the theatres to watch ‘Maharshi’. Despite the promotion activities going on, the movie didn’t get the necessary hype around it. The makers of the film Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema are taking care that fans get stay updated and are trying to keep the movie in their mind by releasing either a song or a still. But somehow the film is not getting required push as none of these promotional materials is exciting enough.
We have to accept the fact that producers of the film didn’t back off to invest as much as Rs 110 Cr banking on the Super Star’s charisma. But this alone will not help the team to get estimated returns. However, the movie has already made a business of Rs 130 Cr through theatrical, digital, satellite and Hindi dubbing rights.
Seems like the marketing team has to come up with creative and engaging ideas to build hype around the movie, which is going to hit the screens on May 9th. Abuzz is that the team is planning for a pre-release event anytime soon and hope the movie strikes well with fans and cinephiles.
