“It Doesn’t Matter If It Is A Karan Johar Film Or A Regional Film Or A Short Film;” Divya Agarval Says She Doesn’t Need Karan Johar Films To Prove Her Mettle

Bollywood is now heated up with the words of Divya Agarwal, the winner of Bigg Boss. Divya has made headlines in Bollywood since the first OTT season of Bigg Boss.

Divya says she doesn't need Karan Johar's film to prove her mettle. Divya has teamed up with Karan Johar, the presenter of the show, several times.

Divya revealed this in an interview with Tabloid. The actress was responding to a question on whether her name in Karan Johar's bad book will affect her film career in the future.

“I am confident that as an artist, I will never starve to death. Acting is my profession and I am passionate about it. But it will be not necessary that I can showcase my passion only in a Karan Johar film,” Divya told Siddharth Kannan in an interview.

She further added, "I have nothing to do with how much my passion resonates with people, whether it is a hit or flop. I am doing what I want to. It doesn’t matter if it is a Karan Johar film or a regional film or a short film. If I have to get a film by impressing someone, the audience can see everything. They will criticize me if I can’t act, no matter how many films I get.”

Divya won a cheque of Rs 25 lakh, the Bigg Boss trophy, and won a place, with four other finalists.

Bigg Boss Season 15 kicks off on October 2nd. Bollywood actor Salman Khan will present the show. Season 15 was already in the spotlight due to the news about Salman's salary.
