Shyam Mohan says that Suraj Venjaramoodu's acting is difficult to learn by watching. Shyam Mohan added that before shooting the scene of burying his son in 'Heaven', Suraj Venjaramood was joking and he would change the character when the time came for the shot. Shyam Mohan played a leading role in the film Heaven. Shyam was talking in an interview.
“It is difficult to learn by watching Suraj Venjaramood acting. Because he is a spontaneous actor. If we say that we are going to shoot a serious scene, we all sit down an hour before. But he is not like that. Even before the shot, he would make jokes like 'Anna, Entanna'. There is a scene where the son is buried in Heaven. Right before that scene, Surajettan was sitting there telling jokes. If it was me, I would have been holding back my laughter. If you suddenly say 'Surajanna shot ready' from the other side, then he will become the character. But we cannot change. We would be laughing thinking about the joke Surajetan said. If we keep laughing at that time, we will hear it. If it was Surajetan, it would have been okay when the shot started. So you can't learn from watching him;” said Shyam Mohan.
Shyam added that Suraj told him to not act by looking in the mirror. “While sitting on location, Surajettan was asked how he suddenly changed from funny characters to serious characters. Then he said, 'Just sit and don't act. Whatever comes to mind at that time, just do it. He also told me not to act by looking in the mirror. All in all, what can be learned from Surajetan is the way Pulli treats others. Jada has not shown us anything. He is such a senior artist. When we come to the location, we will be knocked outside;” concluded Shyam.
