Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master is one of the most anticipated Tamil films this year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film is originally slated for the release on April 9. But it got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Popular Tamil actor Shantanu Bhagyaraj has played a key role in this movie. The actor said that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to act with Vijay.

 
Speaking in an interview with the Times of India, Shantanu said that he loved the way how Vijay prepares himself for a role. Having admired him for so long, it was a tough task for Shantanu to act alongside Vijay. Shantanu also stated that director Lokesh Kanagaraj doesn't have a script paper but he is very sure of what he wants from the actors. Lokesh had cast prominent faces for the key roles in the film. Shantanu stated that every role in the movie is important and removing any one of them will remove the 'wow factor' from the movie.
 
Master also features Vijay Sethupathi, Malvika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, and Arjun Das in the other important roles. The entire shooting and the post-production works of the movie got finished. It is waiting to hit the theaters as soon as the lockdown gets lifted. The release details of Master will be out once the lockdown gets over. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music of this film. All the songs have already become chartbusters. Master is being produced by Xavier Britto under the banner Xavier Britto Film Company.
