Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is in dire need of a hit for the last three years. None of his films after Raja The Great, has performed well at the box office. Even his new film Disco Raja has flopped at the box office. Now, the actor has teamed up with writer turned director Vakkantham Vamsi for an untitled new project.
According to the sources, Ravi Teja liked the script narrated by Vamsi and given him an immediate nod. The details about the producer, heroine and rest of the cast and crew will get announced soon.
Vamsi started off his career as a writer and worked for many films like Ashok, Kick, Athidhi, Oosaravelli, Kick 2, Temper and Race Gurram. He made his directorial debut with Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. Unfortunately, that film failed to perform well at the box office. Now, he is aiming to score his maiden success as a director with this second movie. Since the film is coming after Na Peru Surya, Na Illu India, we can easily expect that Vakkantham Vamshi would be coming up with an interesting film for sure. Let us hope that Vamsi scores a big hit soon.
On the other side, Ravi Teja is currently wrapping up the works of his upcoming film Krack. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this film will hit the screens on May 8. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in it. Ravi also signed another film with Rakshasudu director Ramesh Varma. This film will also hit the floors soon.
