Jacqueline Fernandez To Be Questioned Over The $200 Million Sukesh Chandrasekhar Case On September 26

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Bollywood actress from Sri Lanka, appears to be in a messier situation every day. The actress has been the target of extensive police investigations and interrogations ever since her name began to surface in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case involving con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has recently received a summons from the Delhi Police to appear in person for questioning on September 12 after being listed as one of the defendants in the case.

According to reports, she was not only summoned on September 26 by the Delhi court but also received a new summons from the Delhi Police, which are both related to her involvement in the ongoing case. After looking into the money trail in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a new chargesheet earlier this month that included Jacqueline as one of the accused in the case.

Following this filing, Jacqueline even submitted a petition to the PMLA Appellate Authority claiming that while she was named as an accused in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs. 200 crore extortion case, other famous people, such as Nora Fatehi, were named as witnesses in the chargesheet. She also claimed that Sukesh, the primary defendant in the case, had defrauded her, just like he had done to the other famous people.

For those who are unaware, Jacqueline Fernandez was included as an accused in the accusations. The actress received gifts and assets worth Rs. 7 crores from Sukesh Chandra and his accomplice, according to papers the ED received.
