Actor Jai is presently waiting for his upcoming film Capmaari, directed by SA Chandrasekar. The director, who is also Vijay's father, is 70 years old and has come forward to do a romantic comedy. This film is all set to hit the theatres on December 13 across Tamil Nadu.
After a string of flops, Jai is on a film signing spree. He has signed a film with debutant director SK Vettri Selvan. Tipped to be an action thriller, the film also has Athulya Ravi as the heroine. Now, the film got titled as Yenni Tnhuniga.
In a recent interview, director Vettri said, "The title roughly translates to think and act. I took the inspiration for the title from a famous Kural of Thirukkural. It says that you can have several thoughts before getting into the action, but once you begin something, there should be no stepping back. And that is what happens to Jai’s character, Kathir. He plays the role of an IT guy and Athulya plays his love interest. He is an ordinary guy, but certain incidents lead him to take revenge.”
The makers, who also include Sunil Reddy and Anjali Nair, have completed the first schedule.
