In consideration of the pandemic threat, the majority of Rajinikanth's most recent movie, Annaatthe, was filmed on sets constructed in Hyderabad film city. Similarly, the producers of Jailer intend to film the majority of the movie in Hyderabad's film city. They have started setting up the set. In Hyderabad, the filming is scheduled to start in the second week of August.
Director Nelson’s latest movie was Beast, which featured Vijay. His films are known for featuring elements of dark humor.
