Red Chillies Entertainment had confirmed Jawan, a large action film starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee Kumar, for release in June 2022. Additionally, the actor posted the first teaser and poster for the movie, which sparked quite a stir among fans. SRK is getting ready for a challenging action shoot that will include more than 200 women.
According to a report in a newspaper, Shah Rukh Khan would be filming a challenging action scene for Atlee Kumar's Jawan this week in Chennai. Atlee himself crowdsourced 200–250 female management officers in Mumbai who will fly this week to Chennai for the filming, in addition to a complex set piece. The lengthy fighting scene will be filmed over seven days, and then the actor will record critical scenes for an additional three weeks.
In a previous interview, Shah Rukh Khan said about the movie, “Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come”.
Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead in Jawan, which is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment and produced by Gauri Khan. On June 2, 2023, Jawan will be released in five languages, making it Shah Rukh Khan's first Pan-Indian movie. Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra are the movie's other stars.
Shah Rukh Khan will offer viewers and his fans to three movies in the coming year—Jawan, Pathaan, and Dunki.
