Jayam Ravi was last seen in the movie Adangamaru, he played the role of cop which was received well by the audience ever after releasing between many films last December. He is presently filming for his project Komaali tentatively titled, Kajal and Samyukta Hegde to pair opposite Jayam Ravi in this movie. As per the news, it is said that this movie may release after the summer.
As reported earlier Jayam Ravi signed a three-film deal with Screen Scene entertainment. As part of this agreement for one of the subject, he will be working with Ahmed who earlier directed by films like Endrendrum Punnagai and recently released Manithan. As we all know he will also play one of powerful role in the movie Ponniyin Selvan directed by Maniratnam which is considered to be the director's most ambitious historical subject. The new announcement is that Jayam Ravi to collaborate with this renowned cinematographer cum director for his new project. Rajiv Menon is known for his classy directorial Minsara Kanavu, Kandukondain Kandukondain to team up with Jayam Ravi. Rajiv Menon after almost 18 years he had made come back to direction recently helmed a musical based drama titled Sarvam Thaala Mayam in which GV Prakash played the lead role.
