Director Joshi is set to collaborate with Jayasurya on a project. Joshi has announced the film on Jayasurya's birthday. Jayasurya says that a film with Joshi is his dream project.
Nishad Koya writes the screenplay for the film. The film, starring Jayasurya in the lead role, is on a big budget. After Maamankam, Venu Kunnappilly will produce the film under the banner of Kavya Films.
Jayasurya's upcoming films are Ranjith Shankar's Sunny, Nadirshah's Eesho and Prajesh Sen's Meri Aawaz Suno. Aadu 3, Kathanar, John Luther and Rama Sethu have also been announced.
Meanwhile, Manju Warrier and Jayasurya have teamed up for the first time. The actors released the first look poster of the film Meri Aawaz Suno. After Captain and Vellam, Prajesh Sen and Jayasurya will reunite in Meri Aawaz Suno. Reportedly, Jayasurya will play the role of a radio jockey in the film.
Earlier, some religious groups had claimed that the title of the movie Eesho starring Jayasurya hurting the feelings of the Christians.
The hate campaign against director Nadir Shah and the title began shortly after the release of Eesho’s motion poster. But Nadirshah was supported by many in the film industry. FEFKA and MAKTA had said that they would give their full support to the film Eesho.
