Kollywood star actor Jiiva is playing the role of cricketer Krishnamachari in '83' movie. He also joined hands with director Rathina Shiva and is coming up with an interesting film, 'Stalin'.
Natti Karuna and Natti Kranthi are releasing the movie in Telugu as well. The movie is gearing up for a grand release in Telugu and Tamil languages on Friday. During the promotions of the movie, the actor has been participating in a couple of interviews and has been revealing so very interesting details about his career as well as the film. "A happy go lucky Middle-class guy in a village gets in trouble. What is that? How is it related to women empowerment? is the story of the film. The story got inspired from real-life incidents. It is a family film with all the commercial elements like sentiment, friendship, action, emotions, etc. I am playing the role of Stalin. So we have kept it as the title in the Telugu version as well with the subtitle 'Andarivadu'. We know that both Andharivadu and Stalin are the titles of megastar Chiranjeevi's movies. Maybe my producer is one of the megastar fans'" said Jiiva.
"After the success of 'Rangam', most of my Tamil movies got dubbed in Telugu which became flops and ruined my market in Tollywood. My father RB Chowdary bankrolled so many movies under Super Good Films banner. After 'Rangam', he asked me to do a direct Telugu film from a long time but I don't know Telugu much and I cannot pick good stories if I don't know the language well, which is why I've been staying away from Telugu lately," added Jiiva.
