Superstar Vijay has concluded the shoot of Varisu. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidapally. Now, fans are looking forward to Vijay’s next film, "Thalapathy 67". It has similar or greater expectations than Varisu. The Lokesh Kanagaraj film is billed as a gangster thriller. Following the muhurat puja in Chennai the movie reportedly began its production recently.
"Jil Jung Juk" director Deeraj Vaidy would join the crew of "Thalapathy 67". He will co-write the dialogue. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly revealed the details in a conversation with a critic.
Ahead of time, it was revealed that the film will also be assisted by Rathna, a close friend and collaborator of Lokesh Kanagaraj. It should be mentioned that director Gautham Vasudev Menon also said he will be acting in the film. Soon in 2023, Lokesh Kanagraj will begin work on "Thalapathy 67" in full swing. The official announcement is anticipated to be made following the release of Vijay's "Varisu" for Pongal.
The cast and crew of Thalapathy 67 will be revealed soon by the filmmaker. Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, and Prithviraj Sukumar are rumoured to play roles in the movie. The movie will feature numerous antagonists. Trisha is said to play the female lead in the film.
On the professional front, Vijay finished filming his bilingual movie Varisu and it is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12, 2023. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the Vamshi Paidipally directed film.
