John Kokken Will Play The Antagonist In 'Captain Miler'
John Kokken has joined the cast of ‘Captain Miller’, and reports confirm that the actor will play the role of the antagonist. The Dhanush starrer is now in pre-production, with shooting expected to begin in October.
Dhanush is about to begin filming his next film, Captain Miller, alongside director Arun Matheswaran. The film's producers have officially stated that Priyanka Arul Mohan would portray the female protagonist. On September 20, the makers also revealed that Sundeep Kishan and Nivedhithaa Sathish would play crucial parts.
The most recent addition to the cast is John Kokken, who will most likely portray the antagonist in the film. The film's pre-production work began Tuesday, after the formal announcement of the cast and crew.
GV Prakash Kumar creates the film's soundtrack, and Shreyas Krishna and Nagooran do the cinematography and editing. Dhanush is expected to begin filming for this new project in October, after completing his schedule for the multilingual feature 'Vaathi.'
'Captain Miller' is an action-adventure film set in the year 1930. The film has a large budget and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Dhanush is now anticipating the release of his film 'Naane Varuven,' directed by Selvaraghavan, which is due to hit theatres on September 29.
