After a significant tragedy occurred on the action thriller's set leading to several crew member death, the sequel to the 1996 hit drama Indian was put on hold. Kamal Haasan even traveled to the United States to get the project back on track, and his efforts have paid off.
In a recent interview, Kamal Haasan was questioned about bringing Indian 2 back to life. In response, he said, “ Indian 2 will happen. We are all working on it, we are all talking to Lyca Production. They are also keen to shoot, so now it’s just a question of getting everything together on the logistic front.”
