Kajol Will Debut A Digital Series, Saying,

Kajol is well renowned for having a résumé filled with iconic roles, and she is now prepared to start a new chapter in her career. Soon, Kajol will appear in a new film that will only be available to view on Disney+Hotstar. The popular actress is thrilled to be associated with the OTT and thinks it provides artists more opportunity to express themselves and show off their skills.

Expressing her delight, Kajol remarked; "Exploring new formats is always a challenge; but it's a great thing as I love to take challenges head-on. Being an avid fan of digital series, the concept has always been intriguing; and after following cool shows such as Aarya and Rudra, I knew there was no other platform than Disney+ Hotstar to start my series journey."

Disney+ Hotstar & HSM Entertainment Network's Head of Content, Gaurav Banerjee, stated: "We are thrilled that Kajol will be working with us and enchanting audiences with her ethereal screen magic. We are heading on a brand-new adventure with the adored star in order to present a special tale of love, emotions, and family.

In an interview Kajol says, "Everybody has so much work and I love the fact that OTT has brought out some fabulous actors, you know. You have people who are genuinely fabulous actors getting a stage and being able to show exactly what they are capable of, and becoming stars in their own right despite the fact that they don't have a 24 inches waistline and a 36 inches chest or a 46 inches chest."

Professionally, Kajol was last seen in the film Tribhangga, starring Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. She is now working on Salaam Venky alongside Revathi, which also features Vishal Jethwa and Aahana Kumra in significant parts. The Oscars Committee has sent an invitation to Kajol, who has worked in the field for close to 30 years.
